Super Scene Finder (SSF) lets you log scenes automatically or manually in the field, and mark which scenes are good. This speeds up the transfer process and saves disk space, because now you can batch digitise only those scenes needed for editing. Scene data is written directly onto the MiniDV cassette, eliminating need for special higher priced cassettes. Up to 119 scenes can be marked per cassette
Scene data from last 6 cassettes held in camcorder memory, allowing data to be downloaded via the RS232C to a PC to create a log file or EDL file at a later time.

Features
The GY-DV550 is the only DV camcorder in the world to offer full CCU control. With its 26-pin interface, the GY-DV550 can be used in a studio environment where multiple remote camera and Iso-Cam operations are required.
The EFP remote connects directly to the GY-DV550 for precise control over the video parameters. (RM-LP55/RM-LP57)
To meet the demand for systemization, the GY-DV550 is equipped with a genlocking function that includes SC lock to assure high-resolution pictures.
These connectors allow you to synchronize multiple camcorders when shooting with several camcorders at the same time.

The GY-DV700W incorporates three 2/3" 570,000 (PAL) pixelinterline-transfer CCDs and a 2/3" F1.4 RGB prism to deliver exceptionally sharppictures.

To complement its superior pictures, the GY-DV700W offers outstanding digital PCM sound. Audio signals are locked with video signals for smooth editing.
Because it uses MiniDV tapes, the GY-DV700W is able to pack a lot of performance into a very compact body that weighs only 3 kg (6.6 lbs.).
The GY-DV700W uses a standard professional 2/3" bayonet lens mount, making it compatible with the widest range of lenses, including prime lenses and matte boxes.
